Village of Antioch, Illinois

• Provided planning and design services for municipality northwest of Chicago
• Prepared a corridor plan for the primary roadway into the Village to efficiently direct traffic to the downtown and effectively direct traffic flow through the region
• Conducted public meetings and community survey to gather recommendations and feedback regarding the vision for the corridor design
• Corridor Plan provides a blueprint to guide development along the corridor, enhancing the appearance of the Village gateway while preserving the unique character of the community
• Downtown Corridor Study explored opportunities to rehabilitate and redevelop the central retail/business district
• Worked with Village officials to define the look and feel of Main Street
• Recommended aesthetic improvements to enhance Main Street appearance
• Design guidelines prepared to provide the Village a planning and visioning tool for future growth
