Project Description
182 acre master planned community featuring a mix of housing types, retail site and amenity center. First Texas community to achieve four-star rating for land development and sustainable site design from the National Green Building Certification Program (NGBS).
- Conducted extensive tree evaluations when designing neighborhoods to maximize density while also preserving existing mature trees and vegetation
- Reused site materials and implemented water-wise landscaping
- Designed community to allow convenient pedestrian access to adjacent light rail transit station
- Assisted in preparation of plans and documents for NGBS certification
- Designed amenity center, entry feature and Staked Plains Blvd. landscaping
- Coordinated tree mitigation plan with City of Austin
